BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman forward Ansley Glemaud has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

Glemaud netted his first collegiate goal, which was also the game-winner, in the Bears’ 3-0 MASCAC win over Worcester State University. The Dorchester Center, Massachusetts resident also added an assist in a non-conference setback to UMass Boston.

Glemaud is the third straight Bear to garner MASCAC Rookie of the Week accolades as freshman Cameron Walty (Weymouth, Mass.) picked up the honor back-to-back weeks on September 22nd and 29th.

The BSU men's soccer team is currently 6-5 on the season and 4-1 in the MASCAC. The Bears travel to Rhode Island College on Wednesday afternoon for a four o'clock game with the Anchormen.
