BABSON PARK, Mass. -- Senior Robbie Soucy (Frye Island, Maine) placed third in the three-meter diving competition on Friday night at the Little East Conference (LEC) Swimming & Diving Championships.

After posting a score of 271.85 points on the three-meter board in the preliminaries, Soucy upped his total to 276.25 points in the finals to earn the third-place finish and All-Little East honors.

Junior Oliver Cox (Washington, D.C.) of Maine Maritime Academy won the event with a finals score of 373.40 points, while senior Matthew Steeves (Hollis, Maine) of Husson University was second with 342.45 points.

Soucy is the Bears' first male diver to compete at the Little East Championships since the conference began sponsoring the sport in 2021-2022.

The four-day Little East Swimming & Diving Championships will continue on Friday with preliminaries getting underway at 10:00 AM. The remainder of the championship meet will take place at the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley.
