BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University junior Aaron Fowler has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Swimmer of the Week.

A native of Brookline, Massachusetts, Fowler won the 100 butterfly at the Roger Williams Invitational with a meet record time of 52.28 seconds. He also placed second in the 100 backstroke in a time of 55.37 seconds, and fuinished 12th in the 200 freestyle (1:56.01).

Fowler added a couple of second place showings as part of the 200 medley relay (1:37.88) and 400 freestyle relay (3:19.82) squads. He posted a 22.81 butterly split during the 200 medley relay and swam his leg of the 400 freestyle relay in 48.59 seconds.

The Little East Swimmer of the Week accolade marks the 11th of Fowler's career as he also earned the honors six times as a freshman in 2023-2024 and four times last year as a sophomore.

The BSU swimming and diving teams will entertain Wheaton College on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock from the Moriarty Pool.
