BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Will Horton has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week.

A native of Lakeville, Massachusetts, Horton battled back from a set down to post a 4-6, 6-4, 10-5 victory at #1 singles over Om Seth of Roger Williams University last week in the Bears’ 5-2 setback to the Hawks.

Through six matches this season, Horton is 3-3 (1-0 LEC) in singles play competing exclusively at the top flight as well as 2-3 (1-0 LEC) in second doubles competition.

Horton also earned Little East Rookie of the Week honors on March 23rd.

The BSU men's tennis team is currently 2-4 on the season and 1-0 in the Little East. The Bears entertain Curry College this afternoon at three o'clock from the Rosen Courts.
