By Jim Fenton

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior forward Olivia Robarge (Pepperell, Mass.) is the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year in women's soccer.

The forward led the MASCAC in goals and points as the Bears went 5-8-5 and finished third in the conference at 5-1-2.

Robarge also made the All-MASCAC first team for a second year in a row and was joined by two teammates on the first team. Robarge was also on the all-conference second team as a sophomore in 2023.

Junior defender Nina DiRusso (Braintree, Mass.) and sophomore defender Hope Montgomery (Abington, Mass.) received all-conference honors for the first time.

BSU was represented on the All-MASCAC second team by three players.

Senior goalkeeper Logan Levesque (Bristol, R.I.) made it four straight years being named to the all-conference team.

Senior midfielder Jenna Sweeney (Wilmington, Mass.) was selected for a third year in a row.

Junior midfielder Caroline McCormack (East Bridgewater, Mass.) makes her debut on the All-MASCAC team.

Robarge finished her career with 30 goals and 68 points in four seasons. She is tied for sixth on the all-time list for goals at BSU and is seventh in points.

Robarge led the conference with eight goals and 18 points this season. She had game-winning goals against Anna Maria and the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.

After getting two goals in 18 games as a freshman in 2022, Robarge was second on the team as a sophomore with six goals and 14 points to make the All-MASCAC second team.

She helped the Bears reach the NCAA Division III tourney in '24, leading the team with 14 goals and tying for the team lead with 32 points.

Robarge missed both MASCAC tourney games due to an injury suffered in the regular-season finale.

DiRusso moved into the starting lineup this season and was a key part of the defense.

She appeared in five games each as a freshman and sophomore with one start. This season, DiRusso started 12 of 16 games, including the last 11.

Her lone career goal came on Sept. 20 in a win over MCLA and DiRusso also had an assist this season.

Montgomery moved into the starting lineup as a freshman and played solid defense in her initial collegiate season.

That continued this fall as Montgomery was part of a defense that recorded seven shutouts and gave up 30 goals.

Levesque was on the All-MASCAC second team as a freshman in 2022, as a sophomore in 2023 and this season. She was on the first team a year ago.

Levesque started 17 of 18 games this season and allowed 25 goals for a 1.45 goals against average. She recorded seven shutouts, including one in the MASCAC tourney.

Three career records at BSU are now owned by Levesque. She is first with 25 shutouts, played the most games by a goalkeeper (66) and the most minutes (5883:40).

Levesque is second with 35 wins, third with 378 saves and fourth with a 1.36 goals against average.

Sweeney made the all-conference second team as a sophomore in 2023 and the first team as a junior last season.

In 14 games this fall, Sweeney was second with 11 points and tied for second on the team with four goals. Sweeney had entered her final season with four career goals.

The Bears missed Sweeney at the end of the regular season and in the two conference tourney games as she was sidelined with an illness.

McCormack, a transfer, joined the Bears in 2024 and had a goal in 13 games on the MASCAC championship team.

Her role expanded this season, and McCormack had three goals and 10 points. She was tied for second on the team with four assists.

The MASCAC Defensive Player of the Year is Westfield State goalkeeper Julia Robak while Liv DeMember of Westfield State is the Rookie of the Year.

Worcester State's Kevin Cumberbatch was selected the BSN Sports Coach of the Year.
