BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior forward Olivia Robarge has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Robarge scored a pair of goals and added an assist for five points in a 1-1 week for the Bears. The Pepperell, Massachusetts product found the back of the net in a 6-1 setback to nationally ranked #13 MIT and scored a goal (game-winner) and dished out an assist in a 5-0 MASCAC win over MCLA.
Through seven games this season, Robarge has produced six goals and two assists for 14 points. She leads the MASCAC in goals and socring, and is tied for the conference lead in both assists and game-winning goals.
In games over four seasons with the Bears, Robarge has amassed 28 goals (ten game-winners) and eight assists for 64 points. She ranks ninth all-time at BSU in scoring and seventh in goals.
The MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week selection marks the sixth of Robarge's career as she also earned the honor five teams last season.
The BSU women's soccer team is currently 3-4 on the season and a perfect 3-0 in the MASCAC. The Bears entertain Roger Williams University on Wednesday night at seven o'clock.
