BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman forward Julianna Warner has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

A native of Feeding Hills, Massachusetts, Warner scored her first two collegiate goals and dished out her first collegiate assist for a total of five points in the Bears’ 7-0 MASCAC shutout victory last week over Mass. Maritime.

Warner is currently tied for sixth among the MASCAC leaders in both goals and scoring.

The BSU women's soccer team is currently 2-3 overall on the season and 2-0 in the MASCAC. The Bears host MIT on Wednesday night at seven o'clock.
