BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University junior Cailey Simard has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

Simard won both diving events in the Bears' 201-57 victory this past weekend over Little East foe UMass Dartmouth. The Haverhill, Massachusetts product posted season-best scores of 273.05 points on the one-meter board and 297.00 points on the three-meter plank.

The LEC Diver of the Week honor marks the 19th of Simard's career. She also garnered the accolade nine time in 2023-2024 and eight times as a rookie in 2022-2023.

The BSU women's swimming & diving team is back in action on Saturday when the Bears travel to Clark University for a one o'clock meet with the Cougars.
