BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight week and fifth time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Sienna DeLucia has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Rookie Diver of the Week.

DeLucia placed second in the one-meter diving competition with a score of 238.40 points this past weekend at a meet hosted by Babson College. She also swam the breaststroke leg (34.46) on the Bears' second place 200 medley relay squad.

A native of Wallingford, Connecticut, DeLucia also earned Little East Rookie Diver of the Week honors on November 3rd, November 10th, December 8th and January 19th.

All told since 2022, the Bears have accumulated 23 LEC Rookie Diver of the Week accolades on the women's side.

The BSU women's swimming & diving team wraps up the dual meet portion of the schedule when they host Plymouth State and Clark next Saturday afternoon (2:00 PM) at the Moriarty Pool. Prior to the start of the meet, the Bears will be holding Senior Day festivities.
