WORCESTER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State's Serenity Sands (East Bridgewater, Mass.) and Jailene Escalera (Rockland, Mass.)earned All-NEICAAA honors on Saturday during day two of the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by the College of the Holy Cross.

Sands placed fourth in the high jump with a leap of five feet, 4.5 inches (1.64m).

Escalera placed sixth in the finals of the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.42 seconds.

Tristen Gomes (Middleboro, Mass.) finished 14th in the triple jump with a distance of 36 feet, 7.75 inches (11.17m).

The BSU women's track & field team finished in 29th place in the team standings with seven points. The meet featured New England teams from all three NCAA divisions.
