BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University sophomore Grace Inacio has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
A native of Taunton, Massachusetts, Inacio captured top honors in the 200-meter dash this past weekend at the BSU Bears Invitational with a time of 24.82 seconds.
Inacio currently ranks 22nd in all of Division III in the 200 (sixth in the East Region). Her season and career-best time of 24.62 seconds occured at the season-opening Emory Thrills in the Hills.
The MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week honor marks the fourth of Inacio's career and second outdoor distinction. She was selected MASCAC Rookie of the Week 12 times (seven indoor, five outdoor) during her freshman campaign of 2024-2025.
The outdoor season continues for the BSU women's track & field team on Saturday as the Bears will compete at MASCAC Championships hosted by Fitchburg State University.
