BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Olivia Pendleton has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week.

Pendleton placed 177th out of a field of 275 runners this past weekend at the 52nd UMass Dartmouth Invitational. The Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts native completed the six-kilometer course in a time of 25:41.72.

Pendleton also earned the honor back on September 3rd for her performance at the season opening Suffolk Short Course Classic.

The BSU women's cross country team will be back in action on Saturday, October 4th when they travel to Keene, New Hampshire for the Keene State Invitational.
