Bridgewater State Takes Home the Week 6 MASCAC Football Play of the Week Honor
WESTFIELD, Mass. -- For the second straight week, the Bridgewater State University Bears have received the most votes in the MASCAC Football Play of the Week balloting.

WESTFIELD, Mass. -- For the second straight week, the Bridgewater State Bears have received the most votes in the MASCAC Football Play of the Week balloting.
Once again, Bridgewater State was able to outlast a late surge by Fitchburg State for the second straight week to earn 39 percent of the vote while the Falcons took home 33 percent. Joining the two squads as nominees this week were Framingham State and Massachusetts Maritime.
In the Bears' 34-13 win over UMass Dartmouth last weekend, senior running back Carlton Williamson (North Easton, Mass.) broke off a 35-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Video of the play can be found by clicking on the link below.
