Swimming & Diving Teams Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has named both Bridgewater State University men's and women's swimming & diving teams to the Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams.
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has named both Bridgewater State University men's and women's swimming & diving teams to the Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams.
The CSCAA selected 714 teams from 418 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2026 semester. These teams, comprising 16,680 student-athletes, were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.
To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Spring 2026 semester.
On the women's side, BSU maintained a team GPA of 3.55 across 19 participants. The men's team earned a 3.29 team GPA across 23 student-athletes. Both teams earned selection to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams under the guidance of head coach Mike Caruso.
“This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition,” said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany. “The 714 teams honored this spring represent the very best of collegiate swimming and diving, demonstrating that academic success and athletic achievement go hand in hand. We congratulate every student-athlete, coach, and institution recognized.”
