Trevor Wysong Named MASCAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University junior Trevor Wysong has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) GEICO Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. GEICO is the proud sponsor of the MASCAC weekly awards program.

Wysong placed second out of a field of 295 runners at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational this past weekend. The Taunton, Massachusetts native completed the eight-kilometer course in a time of 24:39.00 as he finished just seven seconds behind the leader.

Wysong also earned the honor back on September 3rd for his performance at the season-opening Roger Williams Invitational.

Following an off weekend, Wysong and his teammates will compete at the Tri-State Invitational hosted by CCRI on Saturday, September 29th.
