Women's Basketball

Frank Cormos joined the BSU women's basketball staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2025–2026 season. 

A wellness teacher at Abington High School, Frank holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bridgewater State University and is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2026 with a Master of Science in physical education, with a concentration in coaching education.

From 2023 to 2025, Coach Cormos served as the assistant varsity coach and freshmen boys’ basketball coach at Abington High School.

During his undergraduate years, he contributed five seasons (2018–2023) to the women’s basketball program as a team manager and statistician.

As a player, Frank was a three-time national champion of Romania, winning gold medals at the U16, U17, and U18 levels. He went on to play professionally from 2005 to 2013 in Romania’s First League.

Since 2014, Coach Cormos has focused on youth basketball development, coaching multiple teams with Premier Hoops Basketball Club and Team Sims. His coaching emphasizes player development, leadership, and fostering a love for the game at all levels.
