BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University ended its regular-season home schedule with its fourth tie of the season.
The Bears and Fitchburg State University played to a 0-0 draw at Mazzaferro Field on Saturday, leaving BSU with a 2-4-4 home record.
On Senior Day, goalkeeper Logan Levesque (Bristol, R.I.) tied a pair of program records in the final regular-season home game of her career.
Levesque recorded her 24th career shutout to equal the mark set by Lauren DeSousa from 2015-17.
She also appeared in her 64th career game, which ties the record for BSU goalkeepers, set by Kristen Young from 1997-2000.
Levesque, who has six shutouts this season, made three saves against the Falcons, who are 2-11-3, 1-4-2 in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference.
The Bears, who have one game remaining, are 4-7-4, the most ties they have had since having six in 2016.
This was also the second 0-0 tie of the season, the other coming on Oct. 8 against Connecticut College.
BSU is third in the MASCAC at 4-1-2 for 13 points, trailing Worcester State (6-1, 18 points) and Westfield State (5-0-2, 17 points).
The Bears had a 25-6 edge in overall shots, 14-3 in shots on goal, but they were shutout for the sixth time this season and fourth time in the last five games.
Junior Natalie Mattos (Fairhaven, Mass.) led BSU with four shots on goal while freshman Brenda Murphy (Brockton, Mass.), senior Lauren Sellmayer (Easton, Mass.) and sophomore Juliana Matos (Taunton, Mass.) had two shots on goal each.
Freshman Mia Herron (Mendon, Mass.) made 14 saves for the Falcons.
Prior to the game, the six BSU seniors were honored during an on-field ceremony.
The players included Levesque, Sellmayer, forward Olivia Robarge (Pepperell, Mass.), midfielder Abigail Shea (Somerset, Mass.), midfielder Jenna Sweeney (Wilmington, Mass.) and defender Erin Richards (Plymouth, Mass.).
BSU is idle until Saturday when it finishes the regular season with an 11 a.m. game at Framingham State University.
