Grace Inacio Named MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight week and third time this season, Bridgewater State University sophomore Grace Inacio has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Inacio captured the MASCAC individual title in both the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash this past weekend at the MASCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Fitchburg State. The Taunton, Massachusetts product set the school record in the 100 with a time of 11.89 seconds, eclipsing the previous standard of 11.99 held by Alison McDonough. Inacio also posted a winning time of 25.10 seconds in the 200 as she helped the Bears finish third in team standings at the meet.

Inacio currently ranks 18th in all of Division III in the 100 and fourth in the East Region.

The MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week honor marks the fifth of Inacio's career and third outdoor distinction. She was selected MASCAC Rookie of the Week 12 times (seven indoor, five outdoor) during her freshman campaign of 2024-2025.

The outdoor season continues for the BSU women's track & field team on Friday and Saturday as the Bears will compete at Division III New England Championships hosted by Springfield College.
